Financial Aid Plan

The mission of William F. Goodling Regional Advanced Skills Center (ASC) to provide well designed post secondary education and training programs for York County students, the unemployed, and incumbent workers that meet the present and future skilled labor needs of South Central Pennsylvania.

To achieve this mission the ASC must have a comprehensive financial aid plan in place to accommodate the needs of students as well as address the financial responsibilities of loan ownership, payback, fair lending, and responsible education funding.

The Financial Aid Plan for the ASC addresses the following:

  1. Student loan information
  2. Advising and Monitoring
  3. Cooperation with Lenders
  4. Default Rates
  5. Financial Planning

The ASC focuses on measuring financial aid effectiveness in meeting the mission of the school as set forth by the President and adopted by Board of Directors. The financial aid plan includes measures of the strategic goals. The financial aid assessment is a process, which is evaluated and adjusted as needed; enabling the process to evolve and grow as the institution evolves.
